Funeral services for Roy Willis White, 72, 104 Juniper St., who died Thursday in a Rome hospital, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Pleasant Valley South Baptist Church with the Rev. Floyd Battls officiating. Interment will be in Wax Cemetery. The body will remain at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m. today. At other hours they will be at the residence.
The body will be carried to the church at 10 a.m. Saturday to lie in state until the hour of the funeral. The Brotherhood and Men's Bible Class of Pleasant Valley South Baptist Church will serve as honorary pallbearers. All pallbearers are asked to meet at the church at 10:45 a.m. Saturday.
