CAPT. Harold R. Austin, USMC WWII, died suddenly Sunday, July 14, 2013.
He was a proud Texan, an Aggie and a Marine. He was in the Army, Navy, and Marine Corps during WWII serving as a Corsair Pilot in the South Pacific and was a member of the "Elite" Caterpillar Club; retired from Lockheed Martin; his own children's clothing business "Austin Showrooms, Inc.".
Survivors his wife Nancy, daughter Nancy Lyn Turner; sons Ray Austin, David Adams, Danny Adams; five grandsons, one granddaughter, one great-granddaughter; nephew Dr. Lewis Browne.
Inurnment will be at DFW National Cemetery, Dallas, Friday July 26 at 3:00 P.M.
