He was born in Pottsville, October 28, 1984, a son of Thomas Porter and Marcella Evans Corcoran.
Jonathan was a graduate of Pottsville Area High School and an Army Veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom, where he served two tours as a combat medic with the 101st Airborne, attaining the rank of Sergeant.
He was of the Methodist faith.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a daughter, Kirsty Anna; two sisters, his twin sister, Nicole Porter, and Rebecca Porter; maternal grandmother, Louella Evans; a nephew and a niece, whom he adored, Austin and Alea; aunts, uncles and cousins.
Interment with military honors will be in Calvary Cemetery, Pottsville.
