Formerly of Meadville and Erie, Pa. ended her 89th season of life on July 17, at her home.
She leaves to cherish many memories four daughters, Myrtle McGrew of Pittsburgh, Pa., Very Byers of Charlotte, N.C., Linda Hagens of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Mary Byers of Lexington, N.C.; eight grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews; her devoted home healthcare aide, Willa Whitehead, and her close friend, Mother Savannah Newell of Erie, Pa.
Homegoing services at Greater Calvary Full Gospel Baptist Church, 2624 German St., Erie, Pa. with Bishop Jesse Gavin officiating on July 27. Visitation with the family 11-1.
Interment will be at Greendale Cemetery in Meadville, Pa.
Arrangements entrusted to House of Law, Penn Hills.
