Rina A. Lott was born on the family farm in Delhi Township near Lansing, MI. He inherited part of the family farm and worked it till he couldn't anymore. At one point in his life he was asked to run for County Commissioner. There was some controversy while he was the Commissioner. He was cleared of any wrong-doing but had received death threats. He had a terrific sense of humor. He was a member of Holt Methodist Church all his life (even when the services were in German). He died in the basement of the farmhouse on Willoughby Rd. while doing his laundry.
