PJ: July, 1973: Mrs. Hazel A. Soderquist, 74, of 304 E. Elmwood Ave., Falconer, died at 2:4 a.m. Wednesday (July 4, 1973) in WCA Hospital. She was the wife of Harry E. Soderquist with whom she celebrated her 50th wedding anniversary Dec. 24, 1968. A native of Cherry Creek, she was born July 6, 1898, a daughter of Gardner and Clara Snook Crandall and had been a Jamestown area resident most of her life. Surviving besides her husband are three sisters, Mrs. Nellie Penhollow, Kennedy, Mrs. Edna Brevoort, Ashville, and Mrs. Isabelle Evans, Jamestown; eight brothers, Eben and Harold Crandall, Sinclairville, George Crandall, Bemus Point, Kermit, Theodore and Herman Crandall, all of Jamestown, Marion Crandall, Erie, Pa., and Wilmer Crandall, Sheffield Lake, Ohio. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Virginia Harriet Soderquist who died in 1945, a sister, Mrs. Leah Robinson and two brothers, Simon and Niel Crandall.
