(WOODLAND) Michael Keith Southerland, 26, of Woodland died Thursday, Dec. 13, 2007. He was born Dec. 24, 1980 in Cobb County, Ga., son of the late Anthony Southerland and Martha Bearden Southerland. Mr. Southerland was employed as a
diesel mechanic at McGriff Tire Company in Oxford and was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Southerland was preceded in death by his father, Anthony Southerland.
Survivors include his mother, Martha Bearden Southerland and James E.Shepherd of Villa Rica, Ga.; son, Kevin Southerland of Woodland; sisters,
Melinda Thomas of Haralson County, Ga., Dewana Shepherd of Temple, Ga., and Brandy Southerland of Buchanan, Ga.; brothers, Shaun Southerland of Buchanan, Chris Southerland of Temple and Patrick Southerland and Mark Shepherd of Villa Rica, Ga.; and several nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Services were Friday, Dec. 21, at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, with the Rev. Tim Stephens officiating. Burial followed at Mozley Memorial Gardens in Lithia Springs, Ga.
