MRS. JOHN G. CHRISTENSEN DIES

Mrs. John G. Christensen was born in Denmark, April 16, 1864 and was united in marriage to John G. Christensen on June 6, 1887. They came to Nebraska in 1895, residing on a farm until her death on August 8th.

Eleven children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Christensen, these, with the exception of one son, George, who died in infancy, are left to mourn the going of their mother.

The children are: Pete, Chris, Harry, of Omaha; Miller, Andres, Walter, Blanch, Christina, of Chicago, Ill., Leonard and Alfred of Blair. There are also fifteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and many friends.

Funeral services were held at Campbell Mortuary Wednesday morning at 10:00 a.m.
Interment was made in the Blair Cemetery.

BLAIR FARM WOMAN WALKS IN SLEEP, FALLS, IS KILLED

MRS. JOHN G. CHRISTENSEN, 73, FATALLY INJURED IN OMAHA FRIDAY

Mrs. John G. Christensen, 73, of southeast of Blair, was fatally injured last Friday when she fell down a flight of stairs while walking in her sleep during a visit at the home of her son, Pete, in Omaha.

Badly injured by the fall, Mrs. Christensen was rushed to St. Catherine's hospital in Omaha, where she died Sunday night.

The body was returned to Blair, and funeral services were held here at 10 o'clock yesterday morning at Campbell's mortuary. Burial was in Blair cemetery.

Mrs. Christensen was born in Denmark April 16, 1864, as Elizabeth Jensine Pedersen. She was married in that country June 6, 1887, to John G. Christensen. In 1895 they came to Nebraska and had resided southeast of Blair in the Nelson hills.

Mr. Christensen died June 19, 1936.

Surviving Mrs. Christensen are ten children: Pete, Chris and Harry, all of Omaha; Miller, Andrew, Walter, Blanche and Christian, all of Chicago; Leonard and Alfred of Blair. One son, George, died in infancy. Among other survivors are 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren
