Daniel Joseph "Dan" Fry, known for his Christian testimony and always smiling face, left this world to spend eternity in heaven on Friday, July 19, 2013 following a brief but valiant battle with ALS. Dan was 57.

He was born May 26, 1956 in Logansport, a son of the late Troy Howard Fry and Ellen Elizabeth (Umbarger) Fry.

Dan married the love of his life, Gwendolyn Wardlow, on November 13, 1976.

His greatest passion in life was leading others to the Lord by sharing his testimony of how Christ radically changed his life. He had a heart for young people and served as Youth Pastor at Grace Holiness Church in Anderson where he was greatly loved by all.

A tireless worker, he was self employed in heating and air and carpentry work. He assisted Union Bible College in Westfield in maintenance and managed their rental properties. For 15 years he was a Team Leader at Subaru in Lafayette and had previously been employed by Modine Manufacturing in Logansport.

Dan is survived by his wife of 36 years, Gwendolyn (Wardlow) Fry of Sheridan; a son, Israel (wife: Heather) Fry of Sheridan; four daughters, Micah Fry of Noblesville, Rebekah Fry (fiancé: Matthew Kaufman), Sarah and Hannah Fry all of Sheridan; one granddaughter, Kaitlyn Jolie Fry; his step-mother, Mable Fry of Frankfort; two sisters, Janet Rhudy of Dayton, IN and Judi Wagenknecht of Lafayette; a brother, Paul (wife: Rose) Fry of Frankfort; a step-sister, Becky (husband: Rev.
