Mr. Stone, a native of Columbia, was a former mechanic with Bechtel, Savannah River Site, and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. He was a member of the Sons of the Confederacy, Brig. Gen. Bernard E. Bee, Camp No. 1575.
Survivors include his wife, Angela Randolph Stone; a daughter, Olivia Joy Stone, Aiken; a stepson, Eric Adams, Edgefield; two brothers, Jackie Stone, Aiken, and Jake Stone, New Ellenton; and two sisters, Betty Jean Willis, Montmorenci, and Karen Stone Wall, Williston.
