Anchorage resident Patricia Ann "Patty" Wooldridge, 55, passed away Monday, June 17, 2013 surrounded by her family at home in Anchorage.

A celebration of Patricia's life will be held 1:00 p.m. Sunday, July 14, 2013 at the Anchorage Funeral Home 1800 Dare Ave. in Anchorage. A memorial potluck barbeque will follow at the Abbott Loop Community Park starting at 5:00 p.m.

Patty was born February 25, 1958 to Kenny and Helen (Amo) Wooldridge in Lorraine, Ohio. She graduated high school and had moved to Anchorage where she worked as a CNA at the Mary Conrad Center before changing over to Prestige Care. Her compassion and kindness towards "her residents", as she often referred to her elderly patients was unsurpassable. She took great pride in her work and was awarded a Mission Spirit award during the course of her years as a CNA. Many who worked with her would agree that there will never be another quite like her.

Patty loved Alaska and her family very much. She loved the ocean and the wildlife. From the day she set foot in Alaska, she knew she would never leave. Her favorite past times consisted of scenic sunset drives along the Seward highway, shopping and being with family. Her favorite color was purple and favorite food was spaghetti. Many knew her as the "Poto Mitan" (pillar) of her family here in the Anchorage area. She was strong and loved to help those in need. Her strength and compassion inspired many who knew her. Patty's family and friends from all over will miss her dearly. She was truly a blessing to those whose path she crossed. "God speed to you Patty, until we meet again", her family wrote.

Patty is survived by her mother, Helen Amo of Massena, NY; her father, Kenneth Wooldridge of Culloden, WV; partner, Larry Lane of Anchorage; son Jason Premo; and daughters, Mandy Premo, Anna Andrew and Randi Premo all of Anchorage; son in law, Jude Andrew; step daughter, Jeanine Lane and step son, Jeremy Lane of AZ; sisters, Bobbi White of Amherst, OH, Bonnie Brown of Massena, NY, and Dawn Cool of New Braunfels, TX; brothers, Rusty Kilkenny of Reno, NV, and Jeffrey Kilkenny of Anchorage; grandchildren, Adaeus Wilson-Premo, Jadeus Premo, Kielan Lynch, Treyveon Thompson, Mickee Thompson, Zalen McLean, Zamir McLean, Alexia Andrew, Hesikiah Andrew, Anzleigh Andrew, Riley Gonka and Savannah Gonka; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Arrangements were made by Anchorage Funeral Home and Crematory. Please visit Patty's obituary and online guestbook at www.AlaskanFuneral.com.
