LANE, Lou, head, owns home $700, F, W, age 73, widow, married at 19, born Tennessee, parents born Tennessee, occupation none.
LANE, Charlie E., son, age 49, single, born Texas, parents born Tennessee, occupation salesman, filling station.

There were 2 other families with surname Lane, living next two houses, who may be related:
LANE, Tom B, head with wife, Caddie and son, Rex, age 21, all delivering Texaco gasoline and
LANE, Sam, head with wife, Oma, and sons, Harold, Billy and Jack, all under school age. Sam was agent for Texaco, (probably a family business)

Marriage 1 Auburn Charles Baccus b: 31 MAY 1907 in Collin County, Texas
Married: BET 1926 AND 1931 4

Note: 1930 census showed Auburn, age 22, living on Maple street, Frisco, TX with his parents, Henry and Jennie Baccus. It also says he married at 18, which would be 1926. However, Orita, age 16, was living on Pecan Street, Frisco, TX with her grandmother, mother and uncle. It also says she's single (in 1930). Will try to find a record of a marriage between them as there's a double headstone in Baccus cemetery since Auburn died in 1978 with both names inscribed.

Occupation Primary Teacher

Age 94, passed away December 21, 2008 in Nocona, Texas. Orita was born January 15, 1914 to Nora (Lane) and Lester Whitson in Elida, New Mexico. She married Auburn Baccus in Durant, Oklahoma. Orita was a Primary Teacher. Orita is survived by several nephews, nieces, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her husband and parents. A Graveside Service will be held at Baccus Cemetery in Plano, Texas on Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Charles Van Bebber officiating.

Chad has wonderful memories of playing baseball in the front yard with Ms. Baccus. She was a wonderful neighbor and friend for many years. She will be truly missed.
