Robin graduated from RJ Reynolds High School, Sullins College, Bristol, Virginia and Wake Forest University. Upon completing her education, she worked as a property manager in Kernersville and in management during the development of Seven Devils Resort near Banner Elk. She worked at Petree Stockton in Winston-Salem and subsequently at law firms in Dallas, Texas & Charlotte, North Carolina. Returning to her childhood home she was a faithful companion to her father and caregiver to her mother in her fight against Alzheimer's. As her mother before her, Robin became a secretary at Centenary United Methodist Church, of which she was a member since childhood.
She was a Cancer survivor. After retirement she enjoyed her neighbors on Westover Avenue, and was especially close to Caroline & Bill Wallace next door. Robin was a lifelong lover of music (with Mozart a favorite), an avid reader and of course all things cat. She became a dedicated member of Smiley's - Fitness by Design, making a whole group of new friends. Brunches with her RJR high school pals were very happily awaited. Robin will be missed for her bravery & ready wit.
There will be a private service at 11:00 am Wednesday, July 24 at the Centenary Columbarium followed by a reception for friends and family in the church parlor.
