Services celebrating the life of Randy Elmer Daniels will be held at 12:00 p.m., Sunday, July 21, 2013, at Flatwoods United Pentecostal Church with Reverend Wayne Junior Setliff, Reverend Roland George and Brother Brett Daniels officiating. Burial will follow at Flatwoods Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Brothers, Alexandria.
The family asks that visitation be observed Saturday, July 20, 2013 at the church from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service Sunday.
Mr. Daniels, 54, of Flatwoods, passed from this life on Friday, July 19, 2013, at his residence.
He was a member of Flatwoods United Pentecostal Church and was a great husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and brother-in-law that will be deeply missed by those that knew and loved him. His heart was willing to help others in time of need.
During his working life he was a logger, brick layers helper, lawn keeper and did road construction. His joys were deer hunting, playing with his granddaughters and riding in parades.
He was preceded in death by his son, Tony Elmer Daniels; father, Elmer Daniels and father-in-law, Edward D. George.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Janet Marie George Daniels; sons, Randy Brett Daniels and Jody Keith Daniels both of Alexandria; brothers, Dan Daniels and wife, Mona of Rapides Station, Brad Daniels and wife, Sherry of Alexandria, Chad Daniels and wife, Kim of Flatwoods; mother, Vida Setliff Daniels; sisters, Sheila Ray and husband, Billy and Cheryl White and husband, Kervin all of Flatwoods; grandchildren, Shelby and Ryleigh Daniels; sister-in-law, Marilyn Kilgore of Shreveport; brothers-in-law, Troy George and wife, Connie and Lynn George all of Toledo Bend and mother-in-law, Shelia George of Toledo Bend and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Pallbearers honored to serve will be Nick George, Josh George, Kurt Kilgore, Joseph Jones "Poor Boy", Chad Bo Daniels, Brad Daniels, Dan Daniels and Johnny Doyle. Troquille and other close family and friends.
