Born in Darlington County, Robin was the daughter of the late Buddy Guy and Miriam Howle Grover. She attended nursing school and had worked as a travel agent.
Surviving are her step-father, Richard Grover of Florence; her son, Joshua Morris of Washington; her daughter, Melissa Bryan of Florence; grandchildren and fiancé, David Bryan also of Florence.
