He married his wife Margaret about 1932 and had a daughter the following year whose name was Mary Eleanor, who married and is now deceased and is buried with her mother Mary Ella in the same cemetery, El Paso, Colorado Springs, Colorado
Roland got most of his schooling in Boulder County, Colorado. He spent a lot of time in Nederland, Colorado while growing up.
He moved to Colorado Springs about 1934 and took a job with the famous Broadmoor Hotel as a Secretary/Treasurer which he held for most of his life. The Boulder Camera had contacted him about writing a article about Boulder County pioneers. I have a couple of his letters from A A Paddock of the Boulder, Camera and Roland contacting his sister Mary who at the time lived in Mo. trying to secure pictures to write a article on Boulder County Pioneers. So far I have been unable to find any of the records that Mary sent to her brother.
Roland passed in El Paso County, Colorado Springs, Colorado on Nov 20th 1983 and is buried in Mt View Park Cemetery, in Boulder, his wife Margret Dorothy passed many years later and is buried in Colorado Springs, Colorado
