Hettie Louise (Knuston) Brown

COLBERT, Okla. - Mrs. Hettie Louise Knutson Brown passed away on Friday, July 19, 2013 at her home in Colbert, Okla. at the age of 87 years.

She was born on Feb. 7, 1926 in Oil City, Okla. to Jessie Knutson and Lucy Roberts. Better known to all as Louise, she was a homemaker. Louise was a member of Coleman Ave. Church of Christ in Colbert. She loved bowling, playing in a league in Durant several years, and playing card games. She also traveled extensively with her daughter, Lydel. She was known by all as a very kind person and a Christian.

Louise is survived by her children Lydel Anderson of Colbert, Okla., Dennis Bragg and Rosemary of Durant, Okla., Jerry Bragg and Debbie, Durant, Okla., Sandy Odom and Larry of Elk City, Okla., Debbie Carr and Mark of Comanche, Okla. She has 16 grandchildren; Danny, Christopher, Missie, Sandy, Sendy, Robbie, Tammy, Andrea, Grady, Heather, Michael, Denise, Laren, Cindy, Tony, Nick and several great-grandchildren and great-greatgrandchildren.

Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Bragg; one son, Barney Bragg; two grandchildren, Mark and Robert; one brother, James Knutson; one sister, Jessie Mae Harris and her parents.

Funeral services for Mrs. Brown will be held 2 p.m. Monday, July 22, 2013 at the Coleman Avenue Church of Christ in Colbert, with Quinton Gage officiating. Interment will follow at the Highland Cemetery in Durant, Okla. The family has scheduled a family time from 6 -8 p.m. on Sunday, July 21 at the American Funeral Services, 107 N. Burney St. Colbert, Okla.

Pallbearers serving will be Danny Anderson, Chris Anderson, Robbie Bragg, Michael Bragg, Grady Smith, Jamie Weger, Chase Weger, Chance Weger, Tyler Weger, & Mikey Bragg.
