Mrs. Ledford was born Sept. 12, 1938, in Phillipsburg, daughter of the late William �Willie� and Annabelle Wilmot Adams. She was a deli clerk for many years at the Rombach Avenue Bob and Carl�s. A 1957 graduate of Jefferson High School, she was active with the Robert E. Hadley District Cub Scout organization and was a member of the Wilmington Church of Christ.
She is survived by a son, Kenneth E. (Rebecca) Ledford of Wilmington; three brothers, William R. �Ricky� (Sharon) Adams of South Carolina, Ronald E. (Pam) Adams of Wilmington and Glen Thomas Adams of California; two sisters, Evelyn (Don) Lorentz of Wilmington and Norma (Paul) Shankland of Wilmington; and four grandchildren, Desiree DeAnn Ivy, Jennifer Lynn Ivy, Davonte Ronnel Ledford and Emily Lauren Ledford.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela S. Ledford; a brother, Cleveland E. Adams; and a grandson, Jeremy James Ivy.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at REYNOLDS-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 327 N. South St., Wilmington, Keith Dimbath officiating, with burial in Sugar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
