TOULON - Ellen L. Bradshaw, age 90, of Toulon, formerly of Peoria, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2013, at 12:25 a.m. at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
She was born April 2, 1923, in Iowa to Frank and Rilla Mae (Little) Cuddigan. She married Floyd K. Bradshaw on Aug. 15, 1953, in Peoria. He passed away Nov. 1, 2010, in Toulon. She was also preceded in death by two grandchildren, Bridgette and Kenneth Becket; two half brothers; and two half sisters.
Survivors include five daughters, Pamela McConnell of Peoria, Carol A. (Robert) Baca of Texas, Mary Villarreall of Peoria, Susan (Tom) Gardner of Peoria and Kathleen (Aaron Allott) Becket of Toulon; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Ellen was a homemaker and also worked outside the home as a bookkeeper at Carter Paper and Packaging.
Ellen was very active in Peoria area Catholic churches, last attending and volunteering at Holy Family Catholic Church. She also volunteered at the Peoria Area Blind Center on Garden Street.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 23, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery in Peoria.
Memorials may be made to the family or the Peoria Area Blind Center.
