Mr. Newman was born in Virginia on October 06, 1935 to Elmer Roy and Elva Coleman Newman. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Newman is survived by a wife, Peggy H. Newman of 57 years; four daughters, Alice Day and husband Henry, Irene Fine and husband, Tommy, Lorraine Rashwan, and Betty Collins and husband Richard; two sons, William and Larry Newman; eleven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Ella Jolicoeur and husband, Mike; a nephew, Adam Jolicoeur and wife Tonya; and a special pet Sassy. A graveside service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 04, 2012 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
