Geraldine Kimble, 91, of Hundred, died Thursday (Feb. 19, 2015) in Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown.

She was born Dec. 5, 1923, at Hundred, a daughter of the late Isaac Ray Hixenbaugh and Edna Harlan Hixenbaugh.

Mrs. Kimble was a homemaker and a member of the Sancho Church of Christ.

Surviving is one son and his wife, Harry Lee Kennedy and Marilyn of Knob Fork; one daughter and her husband, Lana Bartrug and Dick of Bunker Hill; two brothers, Ronnie Hixenbaugh and Bill Hixenbaugh, both of Dalton, Georgia; one sister and her husband, Betty Anderson and Fred of Aliquippa, Pennsylvania; two grandchildren, Mandy Daymude and Matthew Kennedy; two step-grandsons, Jason Bartrug and Brian Bartrug; four great-grandchildren, Makenna Daymude, Tanner Daymude, Brooklyn Kennedy and Jozlyn Kennedy; and six step-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Harry Kennedy; her second husband, Denzle Kimble; four sisters, Kay Jobes, Mary E. “Lib” Himelrick, Carolyn Harrison and Rosalee Hixenbaugh; and by two brothers, Ed Hixenbaugh and Harry Hixenbaugh.

Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. Sunday at Tennant Funeral Home, 2678 Hornet Highway, Hundred. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home with Evangelist Steve Stevens officiating. Interment will follow in Harmony Cemetery at Burton.
