She finished out her retirement by working for her niece at Stephens's Greenhouse in Shelbyville.

Marjorie was an avid sports fan of all kinds. She loved the Chicago Bulls, Bears and Cubs; but most of all, she loved watching her children and grandchildren participate in sports. If you were ever fortunate to know our Mom, Sister or Grandma, you always knew where you stood. She called a spade a spade. If you were her friend, she loved you, but if you were her enemy, look out! She will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her. A special thank you to Prairie Rose Health Care. They took pride and tremendous care of her for her last four years
