Dixie was preceded in death by her son, Todd Michael Atkins; father, Charles R. Majors, mother, Juanita Maxine Sarvis-Spicer; great-grandchild, Karis Lynne Woods; Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 41 years Donald Gordon; 11precious children, Theresa Atkins, Tim Atkins, Ted Atkins, Tab Atkins, Tamara Brooks, Brian Gordon, Kent Gordon, Tamara Gordon, Tracie Fitzugh, Tonya Hoffman and Donald Gordon Jr.; 39 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren; sisters, Judith Bishop and Joyce Goleman; Numerous other loving family and treasured friends. Visitation for Dixie will be held at Neal Funeral Home on Monday July 22, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at Neal Funeral Home on, Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Internment for Dixie will immediately follow at Cleveland Memorial Cemetery.
