"Mrs. H.W. Cobb / Mrs. Zora Dunavant [sic] Cobb, 72, widow of Howell W. Cobb, died Friday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W.I. Owen, in Bedford. Born in Halifax County, Mrs. Cobb was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Dunavant [sic]. / In addition to her daughter, she is survived by two sons, T.R. Cobb of Bedford and W.B. Cobb of Roanoke; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. / Funeral services will be held today at 2 o'clock in Carder's Chapel, Bedford. Burial will be in Longwood Cemetery.
