KERNERSVILLE - Mrs. Minnie Parnell Shore, 94, of Kernersville, widow of Paul J. Shore, died Tuesday evening, Jan. 4, 2005, at Bradford Village West. Mrs. Shore was born in Winston-Salem on Feb. 28, 1910, daughter of Harrison C. and Ida Hine Parnell. She lived most of her life in Winston-Salem and was a former member of Clemmons Moravian Church. Mrs. Shore retired from Hanes Knitting. Surviving are four nieces; four nephews; a number of great-nieces and great-nephews; a sister-in-law, Gertrude L. Parnell of Kernersville; and a stepgranddaughter. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 7, at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens by the Rev. William Coleman. The family will greet friends following the service at the graveside. Memorials may be made to Glenn View Baptist church, 4295 Glenn High Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27107 or the charity of the donor's choice. Voglers Main Street Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
