Note: This Philip Goss was the cousin of Philip Goss the Captian. They were not the same person. The cousin married Keziah Cooley. There has been some confusion with these two as they were the same age and the same name. This Philip was the son of John Goss. The other Philip was the son of Philip Goss Jr.
