Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Boniface Ca-tholic Cemetery with the Rev. Kevin Richter officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. today, with family present 6 to 8 p.m., and a parish vigil service at 7 p.m., at Christy-Smith Berkemier Funeral Chapel.
Mrs. Gormally was born Sept. 21, 1905, in Des Moines, the daughter of Frank and Mary (Straw) Frink. She was raised in Des Moines and attended Des Moines schools. She moved to Sioux City in 1918. She married Charles Gormally in 1923 in Sioux City. They lived in Sioux City for several years before moving to Ponca, Neb., where they farmed. They returned to Sioux City in 1939.
She was employed at Armour and Company Packing Company for many years, retiring in 1960. She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church.
Survivors include three sons and their wives, Joseph and Anna of Sioux City, Thomas and Phyllis of California, and Dick and Sherry of Wichita, Kan.; two daughters, Maxine and her husband, Bill Galey of California, and Mary Hay of Ankeny, Iowa; 17 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, James and Vincent. Sioux City Journal-1 August 2001
