Madgielean Burbank Jackson, age 83, of Killen, Ala., passed away Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014, at ECM Hospital after a brief illness. She was a native of Lauderdale County, Ala., retired from Goodyear, and a member of Hickory Flatt Freewill Bpatist Church. Funeral services will be held at Loretto Memorial Chapel on Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014, at 1 p.m. Gregg Woodard will be officiating. Burial will follow in Hickory Flatt Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014, at Loretto Memorial Chapel.
Survivors are several nieces and friends.
She was preceded in death by husband, Leonard Jackson Jr.; parents, Houston and Mamie Lemay Burbank; brothers, Paul and Doise Burbank; and sister, Shelby Newton.
