He was a graduate of Jefferson High School. He was employed and retired from General Electric and Acura Duncan Automotive and was proud to be a part of the Duncan family. Gene was a long time member of First Wesleyan Church and a dedicated church member.
He was involved with the area's first Christian radio show. His interests involved classic cars especially Corvettes, which he had displayed in many car shows. He was also an avid hockey and basketball fan, loved to garden and attend social events. The last 10 years of his life was spent with his soul mate, Jean Hogan. Their relationship was a love story from the beginning to the end. Gene adored her family and considered them all his own. He was loved, admired, and respected by all their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was also admired greatly by Jean's family in England. They enjoyed many trips abroad and the "2 Gene's" enjoyed their time together to the fullest and were admired by all whom they encountered. His memories will live on because his wonderful spirit will never be forgotten.
