Miss Dolly Ruth Alderson of Bellepoint, who was taken suddenly ill while in the High School on last Thursday died in the Hinton Hospital this morning at 9:15.

She was stricken with appendicitis which developed into peritonitis. She was taken to the hospital on Friday evening and underwent an operation, but her condition was then serious.

Following the operation there seemed to be a ray of hope, as she stood the operation well and was apparently better until on Monday afternoon, when she became worse and sank rapidly until she died this morning at the hour mentioned.

The remains were removed to the home in Bellepoint this afternoon and on Wednesday at 3 pm, the funeral services will be held at the Bellepoint Baptist church, of which the deceased was a member. The funeral will be preached by Rev H P Hackney. On Thursday morning the funeral party will leave for Alderson on train No 6, where the remains will be laid to rest in the Greenbrier cemetery.

The deceased was a daughter of Mr and Mrs S G Alderson of Bellepoint and was n the best of health until last Thursday when she was taken ill. She was attending the High School here and was greatly interested in her school work.

Among the young people she was a favorite and her sad death comes not only as a distinct shock to her parents and other relatives, but to her classmates and acquaintances among the young people here and at Alderson, where the family formerly resided.
