OBITUARY

Merle Malina Fletcher

Merle M. Fletcher died Monday, June 19, 1989, at the Beaver City Manor at the age of 98. She was born October 7, 1890, in Rawlins County, KS to Frank and Helen (Stafford) Guy.

She moved to Atwood at an early age and attended schools there.

She married James Fletcher on September 2, 1913. They moved to Beaver City in 1919. They moved to Hastings in the early 1940s where she worked at the state hospital.

She moved to the Beaver City Plaza in 1979. She moved to the Beaver City Manor on February 7, 1985.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1958; and two daughters, Beryl Carter and Ruth Freed.

Services were Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Wenburg Funeral Home in Beaver City with the Rev. Jack Dixon officiating. Music was provided by organist Mrs. Arthur Becker.

Casket bearers were Richard Lewis, Neil Noel, C. Lee Struve, Jason Struve, Patrick Struve and Jay Dee Wolzen.
