Garland "Butch" Watson Jr., age 64, of Mentor, Ohio, died July 17, 2013 at his residence. He was born November 26, 1948 in Oneida, TN. Mr. Watson had worked as a mechanic for Sims Buick, prior to that he had worked for the former Qua Buick for 40 years. He enjoyed gardening.
Survivors include his daughter Patty Barnes and husband Jim of Mentor on the Lake; son Matt Watson and wife Dawn of Parma; grandchildren Niko Ladd and Max Bauer; parents Garland Sr and June Watson; sister Brenda Acres and husband Larry of Oneida, TN; brothers David Watson and wife Florence of Knoxville, TN, RV Watson and wife Kathy of Oneida, TN, Bob Watson of Oneida, TN and Jimmy Watson of Oneida, TN; nephews Jason Acres and wife Stacie, Jarred Acres and wife Mickie, Justin Acres, Michael and David Watson; great nieces Shana and Katelyn Acres. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Henry and Dottie Watson and RV and Loma Chambers.
