She enjoyed gardening and sewing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie B. Carr, January 8, 2001, her step father, Theodore Logan, a sister Ernestine Logan and a brother, Willie B. Logan.
Survivors include four daughters, Willa Kinnard, husband Calvin, Beverly Atkinson, husband Terry, Gwendolyn Carr and Jacqueline Mills, husband Thurston; three sons, Chester Carr, I, wife Patricia, Howard A. Carr, wife Evelyn and Curtis D. Carr all of Erie; a foster daughter Rose Crosby, of Erie; 31 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren, 14 great great grandchildren; five sisters, Mable Yancy of Chicago Ill., Verna Porter, husband, Allie, Alverna Shields, Ruby Ellis, husband William and Theodora Logan all of Erie; five brothers, Eugene Logan of Chicago, Ill; L.C. Logan, Roy Logan, L.V. Logan, wife Felecia and Ronnie Logan all of Erie. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Friends may call at the A. Brugger & Sons Funeral Home, LLP, 845 East 38th Street at Pine Avenue, Friday 5 to 8 p.m. and may attend services at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah, 1659 East Grandview Blvd., Saturday at 1:00 p.m. Burial in Erie County Memorial Gardens.
