MISS ABBIE KOCHEL OF STAR CITY DIES
WINAMAC--Miss Abbie Fern Kochel, 67, of Star City, passed away at a Logansport hospital Thursday night.
The daughter of Frank and Elizabeth (Beity) {Deitz} Kochel, she was born at Star City January 6, 1888. She resided her entire life in Pulaski county.
Survivors include one brother, Harry Kochel of Royal Center; and three sisters, Mrs. Lillian Skillen of Star City, and Mrs. Edith Shellhart and Mrs. Ethel Burkhardt, both of Logansport.
The body was removed to the Fry and Lange funeral home at Winamac where final rites will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday with Rev. John Jones officiating. Burial will be made in Buck cemetery near Thornhope.
