She graduated from Shortridge High School and DePauw University. Following college, she taught second grade at White River School for one year before starting her family. Bobbie was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority, the Children's Museum Guild, Junior League of Indianapolis, St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Meridian Hills Country Club, and was a past member of the Emergency Club, Players Club and Contemporary Club of Indianapolis. Bobbie enjoyed traveling and spending winters in Florida. She loved to swim, knit and do cross-word puzzles.
Bobbie is survived by her husband of 55 years, Richard T. Hill Jr; sons: James R. Hill (Missy); Thomas R. Hill (Stephanie); five grandchildren: Katherine, Shirley, Elizabeth, Allison and Ryan; sister: Patricia G. Younger (Dorn); two nieces: Kristin G. Younger and Karen L. Morrison (Ed).

Visitation will be Sunday, July 21st from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at Leppert Mortuary, Nora Chapel , 740 East 86th St., Indianapolis. Funeral service will be at 10:00am Monday, July 22nd at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 6050 N. Meridian Street, Indianapolis. Interment will be in Crown Hill Cemetery at 2:00pm.
