Barbara M. Padilla, age 85, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on July 14, 1999. Mrs. Padilla is survived by her sons, Ted Dutchover and his wife, Mary, George Dutchover and Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Zarzana, three step-daughters, Nallie Padilla, Lena Padilla and Ruth Vallejos and her husband, Ernie, four step-sons, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Padilla, Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Padilla, Mr. and Mrs. Freddy Padilla and Sam and Barbara Lucero, 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Marshal C. Padilla and step-children, Nancy Padilla and Nathen Padilla. Mrs. Padilla was a member of the Catholic Church.
A Rosary will be recited on Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Rd. SW, with visitation after 6:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 9:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW, with viewing at Holy Family Catholic Church after 8:30 a.m. Father Jack, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Pajarito Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Nathen Padilla Jr., Marshal A. Lucero, Jacob Mallow, Phillip V. Montoya, Ernie Vallejos Jr., Ralph V. Montoya and Matthew A. Lucero.
