Mrs. Victoria Jean "Vicky" Baker Morgan, 60, of Frederick, died suddenly on Monday, September 5, 2011, at the Gettysburg Hospital. She was the loving wife of Paul W. Morgan, Sr., for 43 years.

Born in Frederick on February 11, 1951, she was a daughter of the late Donald Lee, Sr., and Audrey Jean Winpigler Baker.

Vicky was a homemaker and for many years provided child care in her home. She was a graduate of Frederick High School Class of 1969 and was a member of the Brunswick Eagles and Frederick Moose. She was an awesome wife, mother, grandmother, niece and friend. She was always supportive to all and always there for others. The Winpigler family picnic always enjoyed her blankets, which was always a highlight and she will be missed as the auctioneer. Vicky was the first grandchild of many to Charles E. Sr., and Inez H. Winpigler.

She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, bingo and camping with Paul and Mary Riggs and family. She especially enjoyed Halloween at the camp grounds. She also enjoyed her dogs, Cuddles, Prince and Rennie.

Surviving in addition to her husband are three children, Paul W. Morgan, Jr., and wife Julie, of Thurmont, Howard Lee Morgan and wife Terri, of Frederick, and Catherine "Katie" Drennan and husband Jeff, of Brunswick, two brothers, Scott D. Baker and wife Jean and Rodney R. Baker,Sr., all of Frederick, two sisters, Adella M. Weigand and husband Keith, of Hagerstown, and Doncella F. Higgs, of Martinsburg, West Virginia, four grandchildren, Michaela R. Morgan, Kallie I. Harrison, Jackson S. Drennan and Paul W. Morgan III.

She will also be remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Donald L. Baker, Jr.

She was preceded by a great nephew, Ryan Hackley in January of 1994.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., on Thursday, September 8, 2011, at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., on Friday, September 9, 2011, in the Etchison Memorial Chapel of the funeral home. The Rev. Timothy S. May, will officiate. Interment will be in the Union Chapel Cemetery, near Libertytown.

Pallbearers will be; Paul W. Morgan, Jr., Howard L. Morgan, Ramona Ridgely, Shannon Smith, Scott D. Baker, Rodney R. Baker, Sr., Jeremy Bitler and Ronnie Droneburg.
