Our wonderful son, Shane Tyler Wilson, age 13, passed away on July 12, 2013. He was born on October 9, 1999 to James Wilson and Angelique Mahler in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Shane attended School at Cedar Middle where he loved wrestling and playing soccer. He also enjoyed camping, snowboarding, the great outdoors and playing video games. He was amazing with his brothers and sisters. He could always make you smile even when you didn't want to; he just loved to joke around. Shane was the best son a parent could ask for.
Shane is survived by his parents; Angel (Don) Barton of Cedar City, UT., Jim Wilson of Las Vegas, NV. His brothers; Brandon Wilson, Patrick Mahler, James Wilson and Griffin Barton his sisters; Cassandra Wilson and Winter Barton. Along with his grandpartens Alora Mahler, Edward Mahler, James Wilson, Beverly Wilson, Donald R. Barton and Doris Barton.
He is preceded in death by his "MeMe", Rose Mahler a great Grandmother who died at age 103.
Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 19, 2013 at 12:00 noon at Christ the King Catholic Church located at 690 S. Cove Dr. in Cedar City, UT. A viewing will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Southern Utah Mortuary located at 190 North 300 West, Cedar City, UT. On Friday, July 19, 2013 from 10:30-11:30 am at the Church. Interment will be in the Cedar City Cemetery under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary. Following the interment a lunch will be held at the Lions Pavilion at Main Street Park. Online condolences can be sent to www.sumortuary.com
