Andrea N. Ellis, 30, a resident of the Yamhill community, died Tuesday morning, July 16, 2013 at Providence St. Vincent's Medical Center.

Andrea Nicole Ellis was born on November 2, 1982 in Hillsboro, Oregon, the daughter of Farlen and Tammy (Taylor) Knapp. She was raised and received her education in the Gaston community. She attended college for two years.

She met the love of her life, Cory R. Ellis on New Year's Eve 2000. Andrea gave birth to their first child, Trinity Skye Ellis, on January 10, 2003 and their second child, Devin Mark Thomas Ellis, on July 12, 2004. They were united in marriage in Kauii, Hawaii on July 28, 2005. They built a beautiful custom home in Forest Grove after their marriage and resided in Forest Grove until 2011. They always dreamed of living in a home with acreage and were able to realize that dream in 2011 by moving to the Yamhill community. Andrea enjoyed keeping bees, goats, chickens, canning, making soap, cooking, and gardening. She had a blue heeler named Harley and a red heeler named Apple.

Andrea, "Conan", worked in the maintenance department at Merix in Forest Grove and later as a nurse's assistant at Marquis Care of Forest Grove. She later earned her property management license and owned and operated Skye Properties in Forest Grove.

Andrea enjoyed camping and riding quads with her family. They liked to camp at Fort Stevens, Jones Creek, Barney Reservoir and others. Andrea and her husband would ride their Harley Davidson motorcycles on short local trips and long trips to places like Sturgis, SD. She loved to travel, visiting Deadwood, the Black Hills, Mount Rushmore, the Oregon Vortex, Disneyland, San Diego, Las Vegas, Hawaii, Mexico, and Aruba. She loved to listen to music and dance, even when no one else was. Andrea's life was full of adventure including getting her picture on the wall for eating Salvador Molly's Great Balls of Fire, Ghost Hunting, visiting haunted houses, and watching scary movies.

Andrea was preceded in death by her father, Farlan Knapp. Andrea was a daddy's girl and he loved his "wimpy" very much.

Andrea is survived by her husband of eight years, Cory Ellis; her children, Trinity and Devin Ellis; her mother, Tammy Knapp; her sister, Amber Jewett; her brother and sister-in-law, Nicholas and Jennifer Baughman; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Donations may be sent to the Andrea Ellis Memorial Fund at Wells Fargo Bank in Forest Grove, 1905 Pacific Ave, Forest Grove, OR 97116. Flowers may be sent to the funeral home or directly to the church.
