Sharon D. Fleming, 64, of 44 Cedar St., Kennedy, went home to be with the Lord Monday, June 24, 2013, in WCA Hospital.
She was born July 15, 1948, in Jamestown, a daughter of Roy and Althea Hoover Vik.
She was a 19 year employee of Tanglewood Manor as a nurse's aide and was a member of Zion Tabernacle, where she was a Bible study leader for several years.
Always thinking of others, she will be remembered for her big heart, sharing and always sending cards to many people. She loved God, crocheting and knitting. A wonderful wife, she showed unconditional love.
Surviving besides her mother of Jamestown is her husband, Charles Fleming, whom she married June 20, 1998; a son David (Lynette) Johnson of Bemus Point; granddaughter, Ashley Johnson of Bemus Point; three stepchildren: Amy Jo Caldwell, Kelly Lynn Fleming and Nathaniel Fleming, all of Falconer; three step grandchildren; a sister, Marilyn (Michael) Town of Elling-ton; a brother, Kevin (Darla) Vik of Bemus Point, and a special best friend, Deborah Townsend Farley of Nashville, Tenn.
She was preceded in death by her father; and her first husband, David Leonard Johnson in 1974.
