Michael Alan Roth, 40, of 100 West Field Sparrow Court, husband of Amy Bruce Roth, died Thursday, November 13th, 2008. Born in Ames, Iowa on October 1, 1968, he was a son of Douglas Duane and Vicki Ann Wuestenberg Roth of Kannapolis, NC. Mike was a member of Mauldin First Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Amy Bruce Roth; a daughter McKenna Roth and a son, Carson Roth of the home; his parents, Vicki and Doug Roth of Kannapolis, NC; and Amy's mother, Gail Bolt and husband Danny of Gray Court and her father, Gary Bruce.
The family would like to express thanks and gratitude to everyone for their love and support during Mike's battle with cancer. The family will receive friends Friday, November 14th, 2008, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at The Mackey Mortuary, Century Drive. Services will be Saturday, November 15th, at 2:00 p.m. at Mauldin First Baptist Church with the Reverend Wade Leonard officiating. Burial will be in Graceland East Memorial Park.
