Darrell Glenn Shelton, 61, of Ennis passed away suddenly on July 16, 2013.


Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 20, at the Rocky Mountain Baptist Church, Ennis.


Born Oct. 1, 1951, to the late Glenn and Beverly Shelton, Darrell was raised on the old Shelton Ranch.


He worked for Madison County for 23 years and for the last 10 years, worked for AM Wells.


He loved his wife, Mary, his Corgi dogs, his kids, his pickup and "camp."


Survivors include his loving wife of 24 years, Mary; sons, Vince and Darren; daughter, Cyndi; brother, Garry; sister, Donna; stepdaughters, Hope and Lynn; stepsons, Frank and Tom; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandkids; and numerous nieces and nephews.


Darrell never asked for anything, believing he had everything. We will surely miss him, but we will see him again!
