Mrs. H.S. Mize, 2004 Park Street, died Thursday morning at 11:45 in a local hospital after a three year illness.

She was born in Floyd, May, 13, 1884, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.J. Dean. She moved with her parents to Georgia where they resided for 20 years then returned to Greenville and had been here since that time.

She was a member of Kavanaugh Methodist Church for 30 years and was active in the WSCS and the Ruth Bible Club as long as her health permitted.

Survivors include one son, E.L. Mize, Route 1, Lone Oak; one sister, Mrs. J.E. Price, Greenville; 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Her husband, one son and one daughter preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday afternoon at 2:30 at the James-Coker-Peters Chapel with the Rev. Bill Morgan Smith officiating. Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery in Farmersville.

Funeral services for Mrs. H.S. Mize, 2004 Park Street, were to be held at 2:30 o'clock Friday afternoon at James-Coker-Peters Chapel with Rev. Bill Morgan Smith conducting the services. Burial was in the IOOF Cemetery in Farmersville.

Pallbearers were Bedford Rabb, Jessie Morrow, Marvin Love, P.B. Paul, Walter Williams and Emmett Price.
