Retired Military AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest at DDEAMC on July 16, 2013, Mr. Curtis B. Baber, husband of the late Frances Allen Baber of Augusta, Ga. Mr. Baber was retired from the U.S. Army and Medical College of Georgia as a Senior Public Safety Officer. Survivors: 1 granddaughter, Melissa Carter and husband Daniel; 1 great grandson, Danny Carter; special friend, Blondell Morgan; 1 brother, Allen J. Reese; 1 sister, Brenda Shuey. He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances A. Baber and daughter, Brenda Pond. Funeral service will be held in the King Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with Military Chaplain officiating. Interment will be at Westview Cemetery. Full military honors will be accorded at the graveside. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Thomas L. King Funeral Home
