Per her death certificate: she was a daughter of Jacob Noah Huffman and Sarah Jane Smith, both born in S. C. She was a widow at the time of her death and her spouse is not named. She died of bronchopneumonia and chr. myocarditis. The informant was J. G. Wright of Columbia, R. F. D.#2.

Found in The State 29 January 1928: Mrs. Alice Elizabeth Wright, 74, widow of the late George W. Wright, died at 8 o'clock yesterday morning at her home on the Broad River road, after a short illness. Mrs. Wright, the daughter of the late Jacob Noah Huffman and Sarah J. Huffman, was a devoted lifelong member of St. Andrew's Lutheran church and was also an active member of the Ladies' Missionary society and other organizations of that church. Having spent her entire life in and near her home she had endeared herself to a wide circle of friends, who, together with relatives, mourn her death. She is survived by three brothers, S. J. Huffman, T. B. Huffman and J. S. Huffman, all of Columbia; two children, Mrs. J. R. Robinson and Joe G. Wright, both of Columbia; a sister, Miss Della Huffman of Columbia; ten grandchildren and one great grandson. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 this afternoon at her home on the Broad River road, conducted by the Rev. D. B. Groseclose, assisted by the Rev. J. F. Lupo.
