She was born Sept. 1, 1908, at Morley, the daughter of Dines and Nellie Hale. On Jan. 15, 1944, she married Delmar William Richardson. He died Sept. 29, 1972.
She had lived in Charleston most of her life, where she worked 27 years for Brown Shoe Co., retiring in 1974. She was a member of the Charleston Assembly of God Church.
Surviving is a son, Bob Richardson; a daughter, Mrs. Gary (Darlene) Files; brothers, H.R. "Shaw", Charles C. and Jack Hale; and three grandchildren. A sister preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be held Monday at McMikle Funeral Home here. Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery.
