Lucy Lee Hughes moved with her parents to Arkansas in 1848. In the year of 1859 she married A.J. Felton. In the Spring of that year she and her husband and several families started for Texas. They located in Bell County. There, their two children were born, William Franklin Felton Dec 1, 1860 and Andrew Jackson Felton Apr 8, 1862. When the last volunteers were called in the Civil War her husband went. He took measles while in camp at Austin. He had a relapse and pnuemonia shortly after his company got into Arkansas. Somewhere near Tollville he died and was buried. She was left with Frank two and Jack 8 mos. Lucy Lee married E.J. Morris June 3, 1867.
