Anthony "Tony" La Rosa, Jr., 59, of Bandon, died December 9, in Bandon.
Born May 18, 1941, in Chelsea, Massachusetts, he was the son of Anthony and Dorothy La Rosa. His father died at a young age.
Mr. La Rosa owned a construction business in Bandon for many years.
"He was well known in the Bandon area for his construction work around town and he never hesitated to do work for people in need, regardless of their ability to pay," a family member said. "He believed in the goodness of people and was a kind, honest, caring man…"
His hobbies included woodworking, filleting fish, and getting to know people.
