On Wednesday, July 10, 2013; at White Oak Manor in Charlotte, NC. A long time resident of Washington, DC; graduate of Spingarn High School, U.S.A.F. veteran and Redskins fan.
He was the son of the late Lee Roy and Georgia Alexander of Washington, DC; brother of the late Shirley Alexander of Washington, DC; father of Claude R. Alexander, Jr. (Kimberly) and grandfather of Camryn and Carsyn; all of Charlotte, NC.
He also leaves to mourn three aunts Thelma Bryant of Detroit, MI, Gladys Raper of Washington, DC and Blanche Hogue of Toledo, OH; as well as a host of cousins and friends. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, July 18, 2013 at Emanuel Baptist Church, 2409 Ainger Place SE, Washington, DC 20020. Visitation from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Service 11 a.m. Interment Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, Suitland, MD. Send condolences to:
