Mammaw (Cleta) was born at home. She and her twin were the 4th and 5th children born born into the Norton family. When she 18 years old when she met Pappaw(George A. Hopper) and were married standing in a Model A car under 2 Oak Trees in front of the Justice of the Peace's house. She then had 5 children and lost her youngest and only son to Phneumonia on Decemver 27, 1969. Before she passed away she had the joy of loving her Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren, and Great-Great-Grandchildren. Her favorite time of the year was Easter so she could help the youngeest kid's hunt the eggs. At the age of 74 years old she was diagnosed with Diabetes and Congestive Heart Failure. She lost her battle at 2:00 A.M. on Thursday, January 30, 2002 with her Husband and youngest Daughter at her side and a picture of her youngest Great-Grandchild in her hand.
